Bigg Boss 8: Ali's flirting and Puneet get emotional in the confession room

Ali's flirting by none other than .I have seen him quite often in the house going from one girl to the other with ‘ghisi piti’ lines…but sadly No need to that unfortunately. Ali entertain he was seen singing the song "kisse bhidaau taaka , kisse bhidaau taaka" which sounded  even more funny when the other boys in the house joined in .Aaa..hanste hanste katt jaaye raste,zindgi yu hi chalti rehe?

Puneet initially shrugs it off saying that he is alright, he reveals that he is missing his daughter Nivritti, whom he fondly calls Sandy, as it is her birthday on 17th October. Puneet continues to weep as he is missing his family and his daughter dearly. He wishes his daughter a Happy Birthday and shares a message for his entire family. This incident reveals a softer side of Puneet, that he always puts his surroundings first and looks for peace in his environment.The strong man of the house soon breaks down because he is extremely homesick and requests Bigg Boss to deliver a special message to his family, on his behalf.

Making Anushka Sharma’s swimsuit in Bombay Velvet was fun

Noted designer duo Shivan Bhatiya and Narresh Kukreja, who are designing Anushka Sharma's swimwear dresses in her upcoming film 'Bombay Velvet', says they enjoyed the whole experience. 

According to Narresh, the actress' swimwear wardrobe in the Anurag Kashyap-directed film shows the bold Parsi women in Bombay of the 1960s. "We have designed Anushka's swimsuit for the film. It was fun designing for her because it is a vintage collection as we love doing such range. It will show the bold Parsi women of Bombay in the 1960s," Narresh told media.

Bombay Velvet, based on historian Gyan Prakash's book Mumbai Fables, stars Ranbir Kapoor opposite Anushka. The film is scheduled to release next May. 

The National Institute of Fashion Technology graduates had last designed Katrina Kaif's outfit in the poster of recently released Bang Bang. Shivan and Narresh were here today to showcase their beach collection on day three of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015. Through their collection, they brought the colour palette of American sculptor Alexander Calder's design story alive. 

"We did an extensive research on Calder's works before coming up with this collection. We reinterpreted his kinetic sculptures to the human form with precarious crafting and adaption," Narresh said. Models sashayed down the ramp in bikinis, trikinis, sarees, jumpsuits in hues of black, moss, yellow and red. The designers said that Indian women should wear swimmers more often and should not go away from it. The collection saw prints inspired by Calder's eye and his colour blocks. "Indian women are shorter as compared to the West. So, if they will wear high slit beachwears they will look tall. Being conservative is not the mantra of looking good," Narresh told media.

Bigg Boss 8: Contestants Mimick each other Fun

Bigg Boss announced a fun filled task for the housemates where Aarya was required to enact as a film-maker, directing a short film within a span of 2 hours involving all the other housemates in the cast.

Interestingly that was not the only twist. All the members of the house were asked to mimick each other as instructed by Bigg Boss. 

Pritam was seen playing Diandra, Minisha portrayed Karishma, Punit fashioned Sushant, Karishma was seen acting as Punit, Praneet was seen mimicking Gautam, Sonali portrayed Natasha, Gautam played Sonali, and Upen was asked to enact Soni. Aarya portrayed Minisha whereas Diandra was seen as Aarya. Soni on the other hand donned Praneet's persona. Deepshikha acted as Pritam, Natasha played Upen and Sushant was seen as Deepshikha.

While getting ready for the same, Punit went all out and literally shaved off his legs to play Sushant. Gautam actually borrowed Sonali's clothes and leather pants. Pritam too wore Diandra's pink wig as she helped him with makeup. Diandra drew a beard and moustache to play Aarya and also helped Praneet draw fake abs with a kohl pencil on him, to play Gautam; Praneet helped Soni dress up like him by giving her his shawl and turban. 

As per the plot given to Aarya, the storyline required every house-mate in his or her character to come forward and speak about why he or she should stay in the house till the end, in order for Bigg Boss to select two people from the lot who will stay in the house till the end.

While speaking, Karishma made fun of Punit saying that as he is the oldest in the house he has to stay till the end; while Punit went on to entertain like Sushant wearing a fur cape and a pink gown. Soni took a dig at Praneet by bringing up the incident when he was waiting for his luggage to come. Gautam portrayed Sonali as a street smart "Mumbai ki ladki". Minisha mocked Karishma by being very loud and bossy as she is.

The task was full of, fun, action and lots of entertainment.​

Bigg Boss 8: Aarya Babbar or Minissha Lamba- Who wanted to fake a romance?

While Minissha says Aarya had approached her to stage a romance on the show before entering the house, Aarya says it was her suggestion. We spoke to both their families and here's what Aarya's sister, Juhi and Minissha's mother, Manju, had to say about the controversy.

Of late, all eyes have been on Minissha Lamba and Aarya Babbar on Bigg Boss 8. The two have accused each other of having made the suggestion of faking a romance on the show to grab maximum eyeballs. While Minissha confided in Deepshikha Nagpal on the show recently that Aarya had approached her with the idea, Aarya told friend Karishma Tanna that it was Minissha's suggestion.

As the 'plot' thickens, we got in touch with their families to find out the real story. Aarya's sister, Juhi Babbar, said, "I had a laugh when I saw the episode where Minissha confided in Deepshikha. I felt that she was trying to project herself as a righteous person. Aarya and Minissha know each other from the time they worked together on Heer And Hero last year. Had Aarya approached her with such a request and Minissha declining it downright, it would really be foolish of him to stand by her on the show. Before the show, he had even spoken to Minissha and her family on the phone. He promised them that he would take care of her and never nominate her. He was shooting a project and was in Mumbai for just two days before he left for the house. Where would he find the time to meet Minissha and make these plans?" Ask her if the two have a history and she replies, "There could've been something between them during the course of the movie, but I don't know the details. Aarya was shocked when Minissha called him 'thali ka baingan' during a task. Someone who has promised that he will stand by you, under any circumstances, is bound to react that way." As an afterthought, Juhi adds, "I think Aarya is too decent on the show. He comes from a film family and has an image to live up to. He can't shout or yell like others, who have nothing to lose."

On the other hand, Minissha's mother, Manju Lamba, gave us a crisp reply, "It's a small issue that's being blown out of proportion in the media. It is weird of Aarya to create such hype. If Minissha was the one who approached him, then why would she go on national television and talk about the same? They both are, in fact, going to do a Punjabi film together in the near future."

Bigg Boss 8: Salman Khan calls Aarya Babbar in confession room

Bigg Boss season 8 has so far seen introduction of many new things.Apart from the elimination taking place on Sunday, another new twist that was introduced by the creative team on the show was host Salman Khan's one-on-one chat with a contestant every week. And the contestant chosen by Salman Khan this week was Aarya Babbar.

Sources inform that Salman called Aarya into the confession room to clarify about the allegation made by Minissha Lamba during her conversation with Diandra. Minissha had confided to Diandra that Aarya had asked Minissha to fake a romance in the Bigg Boss house. When Salman asked Aarya about this, he simply denied to have said this to Minissha. He also sweared on his mother to have done something like this. When Salman probed Aarya further, Aarya told him that he had asked Minissha once that would his boyfriend be ok if he watches her hugging and holding hands of other boys, to which she said no - he would not like it. He said we only had a conversation regarding the impact of such things on Minissha's relationship and nothing else.

Bigg Boss 8: Singer Ali Quli to enter as the wild-card contestant

It's been 20 days since the launch of the eighth season of Bigg Boss, and the show is set to witness the first wild card entry with singer Ali Quli Mirza.

The singer, a big name in Dubai, will be debuting as an actor with the film Roar. We hear the singer, who's close to Salman Khan, the host of the show, is expected to enter the house next Wednesday.

Says a source associated with the show, "Ali also knows Sonali Raut. He has already discussed with the production house his game plan and the 'girls' he plans to target on the show." Post Sukirti Kandpal's eviction last weekend, the show currently has 14 participants.

Bigg Boss 8: TVS Scooty Zest 110 task where Sonali and Soni

In 10/11/14 night’s episode of Bigg Boss 8, contestants will have to perform a task in which Sonali Raut and Soni Singh will be appointed as team leaders by Bigg Boss. Housemates will be segregated in two teams.

While Soni’s team will have RJ Pritam, Karishma Tanna, Upen Patel, Gautam Gulati, Praneet Bhatt and Arya Babbar, Deepshikha Nagpal, Puneet Issar, Diandra Soares, Minissha Lamba, Sushant Divgikar and Natasa Stankovic will be in Sonali’s team.

As a part of the task, Soni and Sonali will have to walk on a ramp that connects to a podium. The two girls will have to take a bowl of water on their heads and a food item from the lot set up nearby the ramp in their hands. They will then have to walk the whole ramp and reach the podium. The one, who collects maximum number of items in five minutes, will wins the task.

However, while performing this task, Sonali, will slip and fall on the ramp, not one, not two but three times back to back. But as a good sport she will keep on trying every time. Other team members will come to help her and ask her to stop but she continues to try till the timer goes off.

Bigg Boss 8: After Ice Slab Challenge luxury budget

After task housemates were treated to a luxury budget. Only this time they had to deal with the consequences of disobeying certain rules of the house. As a punishment, the time (10 Minutes) allotted to the contestants to acquire the budget was cut down to half (5 Minutes). Sushant was the chosen one to perform the given luxury budget task.

He had to pick out the number blocks put up on a board and draw the particular item written at the back of every  block on a white board and the contestants were to guess the item. Sushant performed rather well and acquired maximum things on the list.

Bigg Boss 8: Triple Dose Of Adventure On Day 20

Day 20 in the Bigg Boss House started with the housemates grooving on the tunes of Aaj Blue hai paani paani.But their excitement was soon dampened and taken over by tension and nervousness when Bigg Boss announced a task whereby Punit and Aarya could save th​emselves from getting directly nominated in the next nominationprocedure.

The ‘Ice Slab Challenge’ required Punit and Aarya  to lie  down on a huge slab of ice while their respective teammates were required to melt a smaller ice slab and take out the winner cue card seeded in the slab to make their respective team member win the task. Bigg Boss instructed the rest of the housemates to choose voluntarily who they wanted to support.

While Deepshikha, Sonali, Natasha, Praneet, Pritam, Gautam and Sushant chose to support Punit Issar, Aarya’s team on the other hand consisted of Minisha, Karishma, Soni, Diandra and Upen.

Bigg Boss 8 : Liar Whose Pants are on Fire?

In the Bigg Boss House only the cameras know what the truth is. So, as the repercussions of the Lamba Vs Babbar task, Puneet and Aarya were directly sent to nominations for the next week. But Bigg Boss gave them the last chance to flip out of the nominations and save themselves. 

During the task, while Puneet and Aarya were fighting it out on the ice slab, Soni and Gautam were seen at loggerheads. In an argument where Soni was blaming Gautam of lying to the inmates and bitching about her, Gautam was seen rubbing it off by singing bollywood numbers and putting up his dramatic antics.

This may be the reason why Soni lost her cool and took up the issue with the rest of the inmates.

Bigg Boss 8: Gautam is a Psycho!

Equations change, bond change and even besties change…

The two, who claimed to be the BFFs of the Bigg Boss house, who were seen hugging each other and holding hands all the day, now can’t even stand to be in the same room. You are a true Bigg Boss fanatic if you have guessed whom we are talking about.

Gautam and Diandra, who started off as Rahul-Anjali of the house can’t even stand each other’s presence now. Post Gautam’s fight with Karishma, all the inmates sidelined Gautam. Though now things have started falling in place and Gautam has made it to the buddy group of the house, still it looks like not everyone has completely welcomed him with open arms. 

Diandra was seen talking to the cameras and sharing her feelings about Gautam. According to her she would have been slapped by her Daddy, if she was to befriend with Gautam outside the house. Not only this, she even called him names like psycho and attention seeker.

Bigg Boss 8 : Hrithik Roshan enters the Bigg Boss house with a Bang Bang

Day 19 in the Bigg Boss house brought with it a bundle of surprises for the housemates as superstar Hrithik Roshan entered the house grooving to the tunes of his recently released movie Bang Bang. Bigg Boss welcomed Hrithik and congratulated him on the success of his movie. Hrithik greeted everyone with a warm hug and told them how his sister Sunaina is an avid fan of Bigg Boss and never misses a single episode.

After spending some quality time with the contestants and asking them some candid questions it was time for the contestants to play Hrithik’s Bang Bang dare challenge. Hrithik challenged all the housemates to walk over a pile of broken glasses and overcome their fear. Giving an example of daredevilry and determination, each one of them impressed Hrithik by doing the dare and surprised him with their courage.  

Hrithik not only got delicious cupcakes for the contestants but also promised them a royal dinner. After spending a fun-filled afternoon with the contestants, Hrithik bid them adieu with a warm hug, words of encouragement while wishing them lots of luck.

While the evening went by pleasantly in Hrithik Roshan’s company, the contestants had to also go through certain difficult decisions post the completion of Lambas vs Babbars task. Heads of both teams Minisha Lamba and Arya Babbar were instructed by Bigg Boss to put forward names of their team members who were best and worst performers during the task. While Arya had to nominate two people from his team who were disappointing during the task, Minissha on the other hand was asked to select the best player from team Lamba. The result of this selection will affect the nominated members in the next nominations procedure. It will be interesting to see the reactions of the housemates while choosing their co-contestants in this situation. Will they embrace the decision of their captains without any ill will?

Bigg Boss 8 : Is Minissha the luckiest girl on earth?

Bigg Boss 8 : Karishma Tanna and her adjusting issues

A family that eats together, sleeps together is a happy family. But mind you! Bigg Boss House ain’t no place for family and bonding. We are just putting words to Karishma’s feelings. 

Bigg Boss made an announcement and asked the housemates to stay away from the Big Bed. After this the housemates were seen in a dilemma as they had to shuffle the beds. The housemates came to a mutual understanding that Karishma would give up her single bed and share bed with Diandra.

Bigg Boss 8: Babbar Vs Lamba Task Thank You Bigg Boss for letting me marry Upen!

Guess who is floored by Bigg Boss and can’t stop thanking him. It’s the glam doll of the Bigg Boss house, Sonali Raut. Yesterday you saw the first part of the task Lamba Vs Aarya and after successfully completing the sub-tasks, it is now time for part two.

Today you will see some Band, Baja, Baarat in the Bigg Boss House. After the courtship it’s time to get committed.  In the task given by Bigg Boss, Upen and Sonali will bind themselves in the bond of holy matrimony with the help of the Lambas. 

But apart from luxury budget , looks like Sonali gets a bonus of being Upen’s wife for a day. And trust us it was a joy ride for her. By the end of the day, Sonali was seen thanking Bigg Boss for making her Mrs. Upen Patel.

Arjun Kapoor clarifies Not dating Sonakshi Sinha

A while back, there were rumours about Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha dating each other. A website had reported how the two actors had taken off to a secret vacation in Istanbul, and that while Arjun appeared quite calm, Sonakshi wasn't very comfortable.

However, when asked by a daily if Arjun was actually dating his Tevar co-star, the actor's curt reply was, "No, we are not dating."

A friend of Arjun's shared some more information about the actor and Sonakshi with the website, "They're childhood friends and went to the same school. They live down the road from each other and have been friends for pretty much all their lives. After doing a film together recently, they naturally became better friends. They have ­plenty of ­common friends and it's true that they were all together for a long ­holiday in Istanbul. But that does not mean that they're in a ­relationship. Besides, their families know each other too, so it's not ­unbelievable that the two share a very good equation with each other."

The two actors will be sharing screen space for the first time in the film Tevar.

Rajkumar Hirani gets Munna Bhai and Rancho together for Pk

Hence working on a project like P.K. was a fun ride for all three of them. Both the characters of Munna and Rancho went on to become memorable characters for the audiences and people remember them till date.

Going forward, with P.K., it only looks like their characters in this upcoming film will become an extension to their identity.

Raj Kumar Hirani is extremely glad that he could get his two favourite actors together on board for this ambitious project. Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures present P.K. which releases on December 19.

Apparently, both Aamir and Sanjay bonded big time on the sets of PK during its filming and they used to chat endlessly about their previous experiences of working with Hirani. Aamir Khan wants children to be caring and hardworking

I want kids to be hardworking, passionate and focused in their lives," Aamir said addressing participants of Round Square International Conference 2014 at Sanskar Valley School here today.

Delegates, including students from 22 countries, belonging to five continents which are members of Round Square, took part in the meeting.

When asked about one of the most important qualities in life, Aamir said, "Caring is the most important thing that comprises everything, love, compassion among other things."

"It is a very important quality in life," he said.

To a question, Aamir said one should not leave his/her dreams, no matter a person may have to compromise with the means to achieve it.

Besides other subjects, educators should emphasise on promoting sports in the curriculum as it teaches a lot of things, specially how to work as a team, he said.

He also advised parents not to compare their children with anyone, as every child is special in his own way. The actor also asked educators to make learning a fun exercise by encouraging students to ask questions so that they have clarity of concepts.

Aamir Khan in Nepal for Unicef nutrition programme

Aamir, who is Unicef's ambassador promoting nutrition for children, arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The Indian cine icon spent around an hour at the Pakadi Health Post in the district where health officials and women volunteers made a presentation on local nutrition status. After attending the programme, Aamir left for Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Gautama Buddha. 

Aamir returned to Kathmandu after visiting the Mayadevi Temple in Lumbini. 

During the visit, he will also be officially inducted as a regional goodwill ambassador for nutrition.

Aamir's three-day visit to the Himalayan nation has been kept a low-key affair in view of possible security hassles due to the Bollywood superstar's wide fan-following in Nepal. 

He landed with his personal security personnel at Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday afternoon in a Jet Airways flight from Mumbai. A dozen Nepal Police personnel have been deployed for his security at Dwarika's Hotel where he is staying at a high-end suite. Nine additional rooms have been booked for 18 other guests and UN officials accompanying him. 

Before wrapping up his visit, Unicef Thursday will organise a press conference where Aamir will share his Nepal experience.

Aamir Khan made Unicef ambassador for South Asia

Bollywood superstar, director and producer Aamir Khan has been appointed Unicef Ambassador for South Asia, the UN agency announced on Thursday. 

Aamir endorsed the offer, in which capacity he would support Unicef's work to promote the right of South Asian children to nutrition.

In a programme organised in Kathmandu on Thursday, the UN agency officially announced Aamir Khan as new Unicef ambassador after he visited Kapilvastu and Lumbini in west Nepal Wednesday to observe a locally initiated nutrition programme by women health volunteers, saving thousands of children from malnutrition, a common phenomenon in South Asia. 

"I am delighted to become an ambassador of Unicef in South Asia. I hope my messages on the importance of children's nutrition will make parents, families at all levels support and adopt proven services and nutrition practices that will help children grow and develop to their full potential," Aamir said after his endorsement.

Child stunting remains one of the greatest development challenges in South Asia, he said, adding that stunted children have stunted bodies, stunted brains and stunted lives. 

"Compared with children who are not stunted, stunted children have poorer cognitive development, often enrol later in school, complete fewer grades and learn less, leading to reduced productivity and income-earning in adult life," he added. 

After sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia reports the highest number of deaths of children under the age of five - 2.3 million in 2011. In this region, 38 percent of the children under the age of five have stunted growth due to chronic under-nutrition. 

In addition, an estimated 28 percent children are born with low birth weight, largely due to women's poor nutrition during and before pregnancy, according to Unicef. 

During his three-day Nepal visit, Aamir also took part in the launch of the 1,000 Golden Days national nutrition campaign. 

The most crucial time to meet a child's nutrition needs is during the 1,000 days from conception to the child's second birthday. Proven and effective interventions during this time can prevent malnutrition and drastically reduce the prevalence of stunting. 

Aamir has been chosen as ambassador at a time when the whole world is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). The CRC has inspired domestic legislation to respect, protect and fulfil child rights in all eight countries of South Asia, as well as the creation of policy and national development plans for their implementation. 

According to Unicef, pervasive poverty and disparities prevent millions of children in South Asia from living in dignity, reaching their potential and making choices about their own future.

"With the immense respect that Aamir Khan commands across South Asia, we are convinced that he will make a lasting difference in the fight against child stunting, potentially the biggest threat to children's growth and development in this part of the world," said Karin Hulshof, Unicef's regional director for South Asia.

Rekha to appear on Kapil Sharma's comedy show

Bollywood screen diva Rekha is all set to appear on 'Comedy Nights with Kapil', her first TV appearance in a decade, to promote her upcoming film 'Super Nani'.

The 59-year-old actor, who was last seen on chat show 'Rendezvous with Simi Garewal' in 2004, will appear as a guest on the Kapil Sharma's popular show this weekend.

"One of my favourite picture Zanju (Kapil's adopted pet Zanjeer) playing with Rekha ji," Kapil posted on twitter along with the picture of the actress.

On the show, Rekha revealed that she started her career in showbiz as a six-month-old child.

"My first screen appearance had no dialogues. I was only six-month-old. I had an older boy playing my elder brother, who fed me ice-cream and all I had to do was enjoy the ice-cream he fed me!," she said.

Super Nani is based on Gujarati play, Baa Ae Maari Boundary. It gives a strong message to all the women that their power lies within themselves and all they need to do is discover and use it.

Also starring Sharman Joshi, Randhir Kapoor and Anupam Kher besides Rekha, the film is slated to release on October 24 with 'Happy New Year'.

Two Female Teachers Arrested For Threesome With Male Student

Bigg Boss Season 8 - Karishma Tanna playing it dirty Game?

Karishma Tanna certainly took a stand for herself, but she overdid it, wethinks

In yesterday’s episode of Bigg Boss 8, we saw how Bigg Boss punished Gautam Gulati for his misbehavior towards Karishma Tanna by revoking his rights to nominate any contestant in this week’s nomination procedure. However, Karishma wasn’t convinced with this punishment and continued with her “national television pe mujhe gaali di hai” tamashaa. Later Bigg Boss called her inside the confession room and had a talk with her after which the whole drama came to an end. Whatever happened with her was not appropriate, but she certainly went overboard with her stand.

In tonight’s episode of the high voltage reality show, we will see Karishma’s yet another tamashaa. Deepshikha Nagpal’s team, who won the Hijack task will be moved to the brand new Bigg Boss house. While Karishma will be super excited, she, quite shamelessly, will call Soni Singh a ‘bai’. Obviously, this won’t go down too well with Soni, who will develop an ill feeling towards Tanna. Sukirti Kandpal and Natasa Stankovic will also be by Soni’s side. Interesting, isn’t it?
